Oaklands School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation. Shortlisted candidates will  be subject to an online vetting search and will also be required to complete a convictions and cautions declaration prior to interview.  Please be aware it is an offence to apply for the role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
