Oaklands School Admissions Policy
All the pupils who attend Oaklands have an Education Health and Care Plan. Cheshire West and Chester local authority manages the schools admissions process. Please contact the local authority for further details on how to apply by clicking on the link below:

Oaklands School offers a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum. The school has a recently reviewed SEND Policy which underpins practice. Central to all we do are positive partnerships with all stakeholders but particularly between Pupils, Staff and Parents.
Open Morning Information
Oaklands School provides the opportunity for prospective parents and carers to visit the school during scheduled Open Mornings. We provide six Open Mornings during the year and for 2026/27 they will be on:
- Thursday 24th September 2026, 10am-12pm.
- Thursday 19th November 2026, 10am-12pm.
- Thursday 21st January 2027, 10am-12pm.
- Thursday 18th March 2027, 10am-12pm.
- Thursday 13th May 2027, 10am-12pm.
- Thursday 17th June 2027, 10am-12pm.
Attendance at the Open Mornings are limited in numbers and are strictly by appointment only. If you wish to attend one of the Open Mornings please contact the school office on 01606 551048.
The Open Mornings will begin at 10am with a welcome from the Headteacher, followed by a tour of the school. Refreshments will be provided after the tour where parents and carers will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak to members of staff.
